2011 OKE Year End Awards Program
Criteria and Requirements
- The award year runs from December 1, 2010 through November 30, 2011.
- The rider MUST be an OKE member prior to the time the points were earned.
- Year end awards will be calculated by adding the points of each horse/rider combination per level. Points will be given as follows: 1st place=5 points, 2nd place=4 points, 3rd place=3 points, 4th place=2 points, 5th place= 1 point.
- Points will be accepted from any Horse Trial or Schooling HT regardless of the location.
- Combined Test scores will be allowed, but will only count for half the points of a Horse Trial or schooling HT.
- There will be one set of awards given for recognized horse trials and another set of awards given for schooling trials/combined tests. A separate awards recording form MUST be filled out for each.
- You must volunteer a minimum of four (4) hours at an OKE function to be eligible for any award.
- Awards will be given in the following levels: GAG, Beg. Novice, Novice, Training, and Prelim, Int, and Advanced.
- Junior and Senior divisions will be awarded within each level.
- Riders are responsible for completing a Year End Awards Recording Form and submitting it by December 5, 2010. The form can be mailed or emailed to the Year End Awards Program Coordinator listed on the bottom of the form.
- Riders will not be considered for any awards if the Year End Awards Recording Form is not submitted.
- The same horse/rider combination is only eligible to win 1st place in one level. If the same horse/rider combination wins in more than one level, they will automatically receive the award for the higher level.
